Accredited, Recognized Credentials
All University of Colorado Boulder credit programs, including online programs, have been accredited by the Higher Learning Commission.
The credential you earn through CU Boulder Online is equivalent to a credential obtained on-campus at the University of Colorado Boulder. Both your diploma/certificate and transcript will bear the name "University of Colorado Boulder." There are no designations of online modality on official diplomas, certificates, or CU transcripts.

Application Process for CU Boulder Online
Application, enrollment, tuition and the availability of financial aid vary depending on the program.
1. Review admission requirements.
Every program at CU Boulder has an application or enrollment process with admissions requirements unique to that program. Go to the Enrollment or Application Information sections below for the program(s) you are interested in to review the specific requirements for that program.
2. Gather application materials.
Once you know the admissions requirements for your program, begin gathering the necessary materials for the application. Again, every program application may look a little different, but common application materials include transcripts, resumes, personal statements, letters of recommendation and test scores.
3. Complete your application.
Once you know the admissions requirements and have all the necessary application materials, complete your application online. You will find a link to your program’s application on the program page in the section labeled Admissions.
