Career Academy Boulder gives you access to free career training programs from companies including Google, Meta, IBM, and more to complement your learning in the classroom and professional experience.

Career Academy programs are online and delivered in a flexible, self-paced format to fit your schedule and to help you:

  • find the right role for your career goals,
  • build skills through hands-on learning,
  • earn microcredentials to give you an edge in the job market.

Choose from 45 programs in high-demand fields including Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, Digital Marketing, Human Resources, Software Engineering and more.

Courses are self-paced and learners can commit time according to their own schedules. Most courses take three to six months to complete with approximately five hours of study per week.

Current Students, Staff and Faculty

Current CU Boulder students, staff and faculty are eligible to access Career Academy programs. No background knowledge or experience is required.

Career Academy Boulder is delivered through Coursera in partnership with CU Boulder and industry partners. All courses are completely online, so there is no need to be on campus to access instructional videos, readings and assignments. Enrollment in Career Academy Boulder happens on a rolling basis. Start anytime!

  1. Click on the button below that best fits your relationship to CU Boulder.
  2. Once on the CU Boulder Career Academy page, click on "Join" or "Log In," depending on whether you have an account with Coursera already or not.
  3. Click "Log In" with University of Colorado at Boulder.
  4. Enter your IdentiKey username and password to log in.
  5. Begin browsing the courses and programs that meet your individual learning goals.
