Jamie Born is an award-winning public relations leader, proven communications strategist, and creative integrated marketing expert with 30 years of experience.

Jamie is considered an expert at enhancing brands with unique marketing strategies and experiential events. She has led assignments with major corporations across numerous industries and has done everything from managing reputations and engaging stockholders to increasing corporate visibility and revenue.  

You can find Born front and center running national award galas with celebrities such as Martha Stewart, Ted Turner, and Gary Sinise or managing press on the red carpet during the NBA All-Star Weekend.  

Born’s work ranges from presenting economic data to Congress, managing press for Meredith Corporation’s magazines for juvenile expos in major cities throughout the nation, working with the USDA to implement a healthy School Lunch Challenge, orchestrating a bell ringing on the Nasdaq to generating exposure for the recreational boating industry’s Discover Boating program. 

Prior to consulting, she headed public relations for the American Marketing Association (AMA), the world’s largest professional society of marketers, representing 50,000 members worldwide.

She currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) Chicago. She is an adjunct professor at the University of Colorado Boulder for the College of Media, Communications, and Information's Department of Advertising, Public Relations, and Media Design (APRD).

A public relations major from Syracuse University’s S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications, she is a speaker, guest lecturer and enjoys donating her time to many charities.
