Shape the Future of Leadership: New Specialized Tracks Coming Fall 2025

The continued success of the Master of Science in Organizational Leadership program reflects the ongoing demand for leadership development that meets the needs of today’s rapidly changing workplace. Established in 2018, our program is designed for professionals ready to step into, or grow within, leadership roles. Whether managing teams, leading organizational change or shaping strategic direction, CU Boulder’s online Organizational Leadership program offers the tools and insights to help you lead with confidence.

One of the most common comments I hear from students is how immediately applicable the curriculum is to their current roles, helping them communicate more strategically, lead with greater confidence and think critically about the systems they influence. Our students are accomplished, driven and collaborative. Our faculty bring deep academic knowledge and real-world experience.

This combination of engaged students and expert faculty creates a dynamic learning environment, further enriched by specialized track electives that empower students to focus on areas most relevant to their interests and career goals.

New Specialized Tracks Launching Fall 2025

Beginning Fall 2025, our program will offer four new track options, in addition to Human Resources, Strategic Leadership, Leading Innovation and Organizational Communication, to help students further customize their learning and align their studies with their professional goals:

  • Executive Leadership: Gain a broad, strategic perspective on organizational structure, people management and decision-making at the highest levels.
  • Organizational Training and Development: For students seeking to improve the effectiveness of organizations through building and improving training and development programs.
  • Leading High-Achieving Teams: Learn how to create and sustain productive teams that excel in today’s organizations.
  • Corporate Communication and Public Relations: Develop the skills to lead strategic communication efforts and strengthen stakeholder relationships inside and outside your organization.
