Dr. Page worked for 20 years in corporate communication management before earning a master’s in teaching and a doctorate in mass communication from Missouri School of Journalism. 

She began her career in integrated marketing communications for various national and regional media companies in the shelter and lifestyle fields, and then segued into her own PR consultancy serving clients in the health services, telecommunications, events management and home décor industries. 

Dr. Page brings her professional experience—as well as nearly 20 years of teaching in both undergraduate and graduate academic programs—to the MA in Corporate Communication program at CU Boulder. She has designed and taught a broad range of courses in public relations, corporate social responsibility and advertising, and is a two-time recipient of the top “Great Ideas for Teaching” award from the PR Division of AEJMC.   

She is co-author of two textbooks, Visual Communication Insights and Strategies (Wiley Publishing, 2021) and Introduction to Public Relations: Strategic, Digital, and Socially Responsible Communications (Sage Publications, 2021)—named Sage’s “Breakthrough Book of the Year” in 2022. 

A Fulbright scholar, in 2018 she served as Distinguished Chair in the Faculty of Social Studies at Masaryk University, Czech Republic and in May 2023 served as a Fulbright Specialist in the American Studies program at the University of Transylvania, Romania.
