Outdoor Recreation Economy

Georgina is a social entrepreneur, adventure athlete, international speaker, writer, transformation coach, consultant, mindfulness and energy practitioner, activist, and founder and CEO of She Ventures— a social enterprise unleashing the untapped power of women around the world in business and life. She has helped companies and leaders through change and transformation for nearly two decades across the world.

Georgina’s work, thought-leadership, climbing, and activism has been featured and quoted in Forbes, Vox, Glamour, NBC News, Mindful Magazine, Intel, Women’s Health, Outside Magazine, Huff Post, Latina, and many more media outlets and films. Georgina brings a new voice and perspective to spaces and publications that traditionally have seen little diversity.

Her clients include Fortune 500 companies, entrepreneurs, conscious leaders, and those called to shift mountains within themselves and the world around them. She is a highly sought after international transformation coach, consultant, public speaker, and mindfulness practitioner.

Despite severe asthma, Georgina is on her way to becoming one of less than 20 women in the world to complete the Explorer’s Grand Slam—scaling the highest peak on each continent and skiing to the last degree of the North and South Pole. Three expeditions remain. She uses her voice and adventures to advocate for women’s rights and equality, climate change, and mental wellness.

Along with her MBA from Loyola Marymount University, Georgina is a certified RYT-200 yoga teacher, reiki level 2 energy practitioner, and trained in mindfulness-based stress reduction (MBSR). She is the daughter of immigrants from Central America with Indigenous Ancestry and raised bilingually in Los Angeles, California. She considers herself a global citizen.

Georgina currently serves on the board of 1% for the Planet. She actively mentors and serves as an advisor for multiple startups, founders, and accelerator programs globally. She is a regular contributor and instructor for Mindful Magazine, teaching meditation, mindfulness at work, and conscious leadership. She has been an advisor for OIA’s Skip Yowell Future Leadership Academy, served on the board of directors for Big City Mountaineers, and led multiple panels on amplifying the voices of women in the outdoor industry at multiple Outdoor Retailer events.

Her work and adventures continue to take her around the world exploring the interconnection of people, planet, and technology.
